These are heavy duty hitches and are for hauling heavy payloads, such as horse trailers, large landscape trailers, medium to large recreational vehicles and heavy equipment trailers. We offer Curt and Draw-Tite brand hitches. A class 4 trailer hitch, such as the Curt shown to the left, is for maximum hauling capacities in the 10,000 to 12,000 pound range.

The Class 4 trailer hitch products we offer have tongue weights in the 1,000 to 1,200 pound range. This type of hitch is generally for installation on full sized pick-up trucks, such as the Ford F-150, F-250 or F-350. These hitches are for heavy duty towing jobs and can pull anything from trailers, boats, recreational vehicles to heavy equipment trailers. As with all trailer hitch systems, when towing with a class 4 hitch system, you must not exceed the maximum capacity of the truck frame, hitch, trailer ball and trailer ball mount assembly.
